Shopping

The village has several shops including a hairdressers, a Post Office/newsagents, Chinese/Cantonese take-away and a Co-op store. Mobile shops provide fresh meat and fish. Regular visits by the "chip van".

Transport

Regular services to and from Croft are operated by Midland Fox and Fox Cubs. Commbus (Community Bus project) based in Narborough is a registered charity which operates a mini-bus service in several Blaby District villages including Croft. The project provides transport for those unable to use public transport. Croft Station closed in 1965 the nearest railway station is at Narborough, about 2 miles away.

Community groups and volunteering

Community groups in Croft can get lots of advice and support from CVS for Blaby District. Help with obtaining funding may also be available. Anyone wishing to volunteer their time in any way should contact Blaby District South Volunteer Bureau (formerly Cosby, Blaby & District Volunteer Bureau).
