Narborough facts and figures
 

The resident population of Narborough, as measured in the 2001 Cenus was 8,402 of which 4,212 were male and 4,190 were female. The resident population of Leicester was 279,921, of which 48 per cent were male and 52 per cent were female. - Census 2001 for the whole of the UK

Narborough uncovered :-

Narborough is the central parish in Blaby District, with 15 Town Councillors representing a population of over 8,000. It adjoins borders with Huncote, Enderby, Whetstone and Cosby, also in the City of Leicester. The Meridian Business Park, Leisure Centre and recently expanded Fosse Park Shopping Centre just north of Narborough, provide excellent employment and shopping opportunities.

The administrative headquarters in the Civic Centre now houses a joint services office of Blaby District Council.

Narborough is a largely residential area incorporating shopping  facilities, schools and a Sports Association that consists of football, cricket as well as bowling clubs. There are also plans concerning the renovation of Narborough Park, administered by the Town Council.
